Ø  The Candidate should be B.S graduate as minimum in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering;
Ø  Have a minimum of 20 years’ experience out of which 10-15 years in GCC working on EPC contracts;
Ø  Have wide experience in power plants, industrial facilities, district cooling plants, building construction, infrastructures and underground utilities;
Ø  Fluent in English, written and oral;
Ø  Attractive package with full family coverage.
Ø  Be familiar with international codes & standards of Industrial projects;
Ø  Manage the design team, sub-contractor, procurement, contract administrate and material/equipment selection to insure the requirements of the contract are met;
Ø  Follow monthly & weekly progress, risk mitigation and Expedite work to avoid/recover any delay;
Ø  Review designs issued by consultant/client to ensure they are fit for purpose and contractual documents;
Ø  Ensure that progress payments are submitted on time & as per contract;
Ensure installation inspection & approvals are done on time.
DUTIES AND Responsibilities:
Ø  Construction Director has to ensure set financial targets within the division are met;
Ø  Forecasting, mitigating and arresting any financial risk when identified;
Ø  Providing analysis and detailed reports on not achieving targeted budget forecasts;
Ø  Identify efficiencies and implementing effective cost saving measures;
Ø  Build up project team from company resources or outsourcing where the different partners can work together in groups to accomplish efficiently and successfully project goals;
Ø  Make sure that all contractors on site perform the contracted works according to the agreed contract conditions, technical specification and design drawings;
Ø  Claim risk management by identifying the areas that could produce claims, careful selection and clear identification of scope of work, short list qualified contractors and ensure that the contractor is fully aware of his scope of work;
Ø  Maintain open channel of communications between all the involved parties by proper documentation and circulation of information to all concern parties and regular meetings to cover all projects aspects;
Ø  Monitor site progress of each activity, task and deliverable item;
Ø  Prepare project monthly report which include project statues report, cost control report, schedule analysis report, site report, progress report, cash flow report, payment reports and other reports as needed;
Ø  Resource optimization and utilization leveraged to achieve set project budget;
Ø  Proactively follow all outstanding payments owed to the division ensuring that all agreed procedures are followed and adhered to; further preparing reports on outstanding payments that are out with agreed payment terms for that particular contract /job - holding weekly update meetings with all relevant personnel;
Ø  Oversee and implement best practice in everyday financial aspects of daily operations.
Day-to-Day Operations
Performance 
Ø  Oversee MEP- Contract Department and ensure optimal effective productivity of this department including all current EPC contracts and business development; Supervise and guide Division head, Engineers and Supervisors as required to ensure strict adherence to set guidelines and targets.
Ø  Oversee and manage the departments within the MEP Department;
Ø  Chair weekly operations meetings when and as needed;
Ø  Liaise daily with other departments within Genetco for any correlative matters, also administrative issues;
Ø  Brief COO on a daily basis on general operational matters or as per COO schedule;
Ø  Ensure the Quality Policy and other Company Policies are implemented;
Ø  Ensure Company Training Policy is implemented;
Ø  Fully Responsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Management System Requirements in MEP Department in accordance with ISO 9001:2015;
Ø  Manage and audit the material procurement within each individual contract, ensuring no overspend, no over-order, correct use and storage;
Ø  Manage and initiate where required, recruitment procedures for existing and new contracts;
Ø  Fully Responsible for implementing and maintaining Occupational Health & Safety Management System Requirements in EPD Division in accordance with ISO 45001:2018.
Clients Management
Ø  Meet and liaise with current clients on regular basis;
Ø  Maintain customer gratification, customer service and customer satisfaction;
Ø  Check and approve all monthly reports issued to clients as per the specified service level agreements;
Ø  Oversee and review all monthly reports for clients as per contract specifications;
Ø  Respond positively to any immediate client issues;
Ø  Commit to strong business relationships with valued customers to drive business development, grow long-term relationships and maintain sound business practices;
Ø  Compile and approve the monthly report for submission to the COO.
Administration
Ø  Initiate and follow through with all disciplinary matters; with HR department before final approval of the COO.
Ø  Manage and control the division leave plan, ensuring all contracts have relevant cover for annual leave or emergency leave approved.Job Details
